Backyard Rustic Porch Addition in Austin
This project involved upgrading from an older deck to a completely new frame with composite decking. Maintaining a good sight line from inside looking out through the large windows was a primary design concern. We chose to utilize a low slope roof and unfinished cedar structural elements.
The customer chose a corrugated tin roofing material and exposed galvanized bracketry for the porch.
We finished the deck with a composite decking that requires special attention to the support framing beneath.
