Transitional Kitchen Remodel in Pflugerville
The 80’s decor of this kitchen had been maintained very well but was starting to wear out and show it’s age. The customer wanted a modern looking kitchen with painted cabinets and tile flooring. We took the opportunity to add some usable space to the kitchen by moving the clothes washer and dryer to the garage, and the refrigerator to the old laundry location near the kitchen.

The kitchen was not a large kitchen and had decent custom cabinets from the home builder so the decision was made to reface the cabinets and refinish the boxes in place. This involves custom fabricating new doors and drawer fronts and the customer chose a mitered door profile with brushed nickel hardware.
In the location of the original refrigerator we had a custom height base cabinet sized for appliances with a pull out drawer. The cabinets were finished in a custom-tinted Sherwin-Williams conversion varnish. Lighting was upgraded to energy efficient LED recessed units.
2 more custom cabinets with matching doors were added to finish out the old laundry location. An adjacent bathroom was also included in the project.
