This kitchen project was a fantastic remodel of a house with previous remodeling history. It involved removing two walls, relocating the laundry appliances as well as a water heater and HVAC furnace. The focus of the project was maximizing the available 1st floor square footage and open up what was once a dark, narrow, galley-style kitchen.
The customer chose a neutral color palette with an accent wall of handmade caustic cement tiles that ties in the family favorite color of blue.
An existing window was converted to a door and a mudroom was added at the rear corner of the house.
Other projects included adding an upstairs laundry area and a bathroom door for a little privacy in the master bathroom. It was great to be a part of this job!
